We prefer County employees use GovDelivery for distributing enewsletters to the public. However, LISTSERV technology is available if appropriate. Subscription offerings are listed on our subscriptions page.
Logging In to LISTSERV

- Click the link for “LISTSERV web list management interface”
- Obtain a password from http://listserv.arlingtonva.us/
- Click the link for “LISTSERV web list management interface”
- In the paragraph above the Email Address form field, click the link for “get a new LISTSERV password”
- You must use your Arlington County email address
- Your email must already be in the LISTSERV system as a list owner, editor, moderator for this to work.
To see number of subscribers
- Log in to LISTSERV
- Go to the List Management Dashboard (click the “List Management” link in the header)
- Find the List Name in the table
- The second column shows the number of Subscribers
List configuration changes (e.g. title, description, owners)
- Log in to LISTSERV
- Go to the List Management Dashboard (click the “List Management” link in the header)
- Find the List Name in the table
- Click the word [Configure] that appears below the List Name
- Use the tabs to find the field(s) that you want to change
- Click on the ‘?’ next to a field to get related help
- Per your list agreement, email L-Soft for further assistance:
- l-soft@listserv.arlingtonva.us
- request for assistance must be sent to L-Soft from an email address set up as a list owner
- All emails should contain the County’s Customer ID Number (6999)
